About the Speakers:
Howard & Jeanne Hendricks
In 1945 Howard and Jeanne Hendricks met at a Valentine’s Day banquet in Philadelphia and were married five years later. They moved to Dallas to study at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), where Howard earned a master’s degree in theology in 1950. After graduation he and Jeanne moved to Fort Worth to start a church and in 1951 he began teaching at DTS. Fifty-five years later he continues to teach at the Seminary as a distinguished professor and chairs the Howard G. Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership.
Michael & Cindy Easley
Michael and Cindy Easley met in college at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. They have been married 26 years and have four children. Michael earned his Master of Theology (Th.M., 1985) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min., 2003) from Dallas Theological Seminary. Michael served as a pastor in Grand Prairie, TX, before going to Emmanuel Bible Church in Springfield, VA, in 1993. After serving successfully in the pastorate for more than 20 years, he became the eighth president of Moody Bible Institute in 2005.
