About the Speaker: J. P. Moreland is professor of philosophy at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University in La Mirada, California. Dr. Moreland has holds a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Missouri, a Th.M. in theology from Dallas Seminary, an M.A. in philosophy from the University of California-Riverside, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Southern California. He has planted 3 churches, spoken and debated on over 175 college campuses around the country, and served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 10 years. Dr. Moreland has authored or co-authored 12 books, including Scaling the Secular City; Does God Exist?; Immortality: The Other Side of Death; The Creation Hypothesis; Love Your God With All Your Mind, and Body and Soul, and has been published in over 40 journals.
